Lucy Ruuskanen - Piano & Violin

Lucy Ruuskanen, a British/Finnish musician, is a third-year undergraduate student at the Royal College of Music. 

 

Lucy attended the City of Edinburgh Music School where she studied both piano and violin. She received the opportunity to take part in a number of masterclasses, including one with pianist Joanna MacGregor, and did numerous solos in the Queens Hall, Edinburgh. She won the James Waterhouse Piano competition 2 years in a row, and was awarded first place in the 10-minute piano recital, as part of the Edinburgh Competition Festival. She also played violin with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.

Lucy has years of teaching experience with students of all ages and abilities, and has taught in both group and individual settings
