Hanna is a Swiss / German Saxophonist, Composer and Teacher. She started playing Saxophone at the age of 10 and successfully completed her MA in Performance (Tenor Saxophone) at the University of Arts in Bern, Switzerland in 2016. In 2017 she moved from Lucerne to London, where she lives and plays music now. 

 

Hanna has always been fascinated by the rhythmic aspects of music, dreaming to be playing alongside Prince and thus, the first saxophonists she fell in love with were Maceo Parker and Candy Dulfer. Furthermore, she discovered her love for Funk, Soul, RnB, Jazz, Reggae, Pop, Fusion and Ska which led her to the decision to pursue her musical journey. When it comes to teaching, Hanna's biggest joy is to see students walk out the lesson with a smile and inspiration on their faces!
