Emily is a London-based cellist with a First Class degree from the Royal College of Music and a Master’s degree with Distinction from the Royal Academy of Music. She enjoys a varied and dynamic performing career, having worked with ensembles such as the English National Opera and the Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra. Her theatre credits include Fiddler on the Roof and Sherlock Holmes and the 12 Days of Christmas.

 

Alongside performing, Emily is a dedicated and experienced teacher with over eight years of experience teaching cello, piano, music theory, and ensemble playing. She takes an inclusive and student-centred approach, tailoring each lesson to suit individual needs, goals, and learning styles, helping every student reach their full potential.
